The present is not extensive. A moment. A fraction of an instant. Experiences that arise in thismoment pass or wear away in an instant. It is in this fractional instant that one delights in past experiences. It is inthis moment that one delights in desirable future experiences. Signs that arise now are also experienced in thismoment. This moment is known in Teaching as \u201cco-dependently arisen\u201d (paccuppanna).
